Lucille Bitzan BA
As a mental health practitioner and transwoman, I believe therapy should be a space for everyone to learn, grow, and heal, no matter what identities or life experiences they bring to the table. Whether you are seeking to work through past traumas, current life stressors, or something else, I want you to feel welcomed and cared for. In session with me, you can expect a collaborative alliance built on addressing your mental health goals and barriers to said goals. Therapy can sometimes be intimidating or scary, so I exercise full transparency throughout the therapeutic process to help you feel more comfortable during our time together.
I use an eclectic approach that draws from cognitive-behavioral, existential, and feminist theories to guide my work. In practice, this allows us to come together and choose a strategy or technique that you feel will work best for you.
I work with adolescents (16+) and adults with the following concerns:
Anxiety
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Depression
Grief & Loss
LGBTQIA Identity Concerns
Major Life Transitions
Relationship Concerns
Trauma
Work & Life Balance
